  I’m probably (almost definitely) missing some. Some of what I listed here is mutually exclusive, but you’ll generally find a mix and match of those elements whenever Lyra is depicted (at least in my opinion).
   
  LyraBon is a popular shipping pair, so I understand that it may seem like that’s all there is to both ponies on the surface. I also understand I’m pretty biased in saying anything about Lyra (or even Bon Bon or the two as a shipping pair), yet I really believe there’s a lot more to Lyra than just ‘Bon Bon’s girlfriend’ and/or ‘human obsessed’ (and more to Bon Bon than ‘Lyra’s girlfriend’, ‘confectioner’, ‘grumpy and constantly unamused pony’ and/or ‘Secret Agent’, though I’ll admit she probably has a lot less characterisation, both in canon and in the fandom overall, than Lyra).
   
  There has definitely been a surge of LyraBon art over the past half-a-year or so with ‘Slice of Life’, ‘All’s Fair in Love and Friendship Games’, the startup of Season 5 (and all the cute little Lyra and Bon Bon moments) and even the USA’s Gay Marriage decision, so it’s probably saturated all the other depictions of Lyra as of late. Hell, I’m guilty of drawing (and consuming) a lot of LyraBon art myself. I enjoy shipping them, thus I enjoy drawing them and consuming any little morsel of it.
