Find the x which is an angle in the triangle
Found the answer by digging through this reddit thread. They cheated a little and didn’t show all the work. In order to solve it using only geometry, as they do here, you have to construct two more lines, which define the F and G points. They don’t show the additional lines and points, so the solution doesn’t seem to make sense, but it would if they had done so.
There seems to be information that’s not on the board. AEC=10 is taken as a given in the first equation, but it’s not labeled. Is the intersection of the two interior lines point F? I can’t read it. And where is point G?

So, after all that work, Sunset screwed up on 30+X=50. I can believe that, especially with every singing while she’s trying to do math. Got distracted and wrote another 30.
