Anyway, He Who Fights Monsters! Chapter 2 is on the way, and this story has it all! Drug abuse! Torture! Sex! Double jeopardy! Revenge! Gratuitous sex scenes! A fun filled family romp! :D
Sunset really puts the “cute” in “execute,” amiright?
What do you call someone being executed? I dunno if “executee” is a word, but I think you can call her a real exe”cutie”! Guess that means real soon she’ll be an ex-cutie, too!
The final day of her life? I guess you could call it a “sunset”!
I’ll be here all night, folks!~…
Which is quite awhile after Sun-sets!
But hey, even after she literally kicks the bucket, I have a feeling she’ll be hangin’ with us all evening!
But hey, at least I know it’s not my jokes that will be making her gag, am I right?
I mean, when I say my gig is a killer, this is not what I had in mind! But at least she’ll be getting some kicks out of this one!
Phewie, that was fun. Yes, my headcanon is that this is the fic behind this picture. Sunset’s execution is just part of an act. Maybe someone saw her wearing leather and made some assumptions about her tastes and she ended up taking a job at the BDSM joint or something.
I mean, I may joke about this stuff, but I wouldn’t actually “leave her hangin’!”
(fortunately, I know CPR: Cute Pony Resuscitation. And mouth-to-mouth. Sure she’s got a nosebleed, but I’d still res it. May have gotten with Flash, but I don’t think she’s got AIDS or anything.)
Also, even if something doesn’t happen “for a reason”, one of the most remarkable things about humans and life in general is our ability to take something like that, and grow and adapt from/for/to it. Even if you don’t believe in intrinsic meaning, meaning can be created.
Tragedy is when a character, through their own actions and flaws, causes their downfall, sometimes, but not always, resulting in the death, but other times the story continues on and shows them getting out of their slump.
At least, that’s the traditional definition, which might not apply in most modern cases. But stil for something to qualify as a tragedy, there has to be a certain degree of irony to it. Somehow, the character in question must have at least deserved it, either for being vain or prideful or not thinking things through or hopelessly going on despite the odds against them, etc.
Making something needlessly dark is not tragedy but just more or less wank material for nightmare fetishists, most of the time unintentionally. When dark things happen, there needs to be a reason. Even just for the lulz is enough of a reason, at least if your work is a dark comedy and the situation is presented humorously.
As someone who knows the particular route THIS story will take, I can tell you right now that that is the very, VERY last thing Sunset should be doing in this case.
@Background Pony #2A6D
All I would be doing is giving some alternate endings. Don’t worry, only one involves Cloud Cover getting killed upon meeting Sunset. Even then, that ending would involve the version of Sunset that I’m using in a FanFic o’ mine. Otherwise, one of the endings would involve Cloud Cover discovering the portal to Equestria. Another would involve Cloud Cover getting hunted by the mafia, but have Sunset catch the killing bullet because “If I didn’t rat you out, you would’ve become a well respected honors student”. Hell, one would end in Sunset marrying an even more deeply depressed Cloud Cover. I could make all kinds of different endings, and even have an entire list of alternate endings that I thought about but didn’t actually make. I’m very creative. @Nordguy
Actually, that would be an already known thing.
@Background Pony #2A6D
So, basically, someone’s gonna figure it out and beat the ever loving shit out of him.
This story certainly got more interesting now.
@Background Pony #2A6D
So, one of the humane 5? And I’m gonna be more direct: Does Cluod Chaser suspect of anyone who could be, essentially, waiting for him to do something away from home? Someone who’s been tracking him, and also waits for the perfect moment?
@C Money
Not to go to into spoilers, but Cloud Cover is well aware that he is alone in this endeavor. Chapter 2 will go into this further, but he’s hiding from the people in town due to his…particular set of skills, and he knows the Mane Six could and would kick his ass if he tried something directly. So he’s going to pull a Light Yagami and use their natures and ideas against them.
@Background Pony #2A6D
So the school basically gives him Sunset? You ever think that the students don’t have thoughts and/or plans of their own? Or even think about those who also wait in the background -like the guy who saves Sunset in my fic- like guardians? And does Cloud Cover know that, if he does anything to Sunset, that he toys with gods?
@C Money
Erm, was this meant for another image or is this a parody of the concept? Although amusingly enough, the school’s response to Sunset does kind of play a factor in chapter 2. XD
Dude. In the story I’m making, the students of Canterlot High discover what Sunset did. They gather in groups to find her and beat her within an inch of her life. Sunset is not anywhere close to being happy, and it’s hard to forgive someone who controlled your mind. It’s also revealed that Twilight’s element of harmony had nothing to with Sunset’s transformation.
@atalarikt
Oh it’s bad. It’s really bad. This “Cloud Cover” character is a worthless dirt/scumbag. He seems to be made for you to slightly pity him, but he deserves to be pulled down to the ninth plane of hell.
@atalarikt
I can’t say too much since it is incomplete, but the first chapter sets up the lead character’s motivations and…questionable morality, so you could probably see where it’s going from there.

Thank you.

Being executed is never fun. This story just looks like torture porn, though. Encourages me to write something happy, myself.
Dat perspective on dat noose though. Also it seems a good deal out of her reach and she’s not really bound or anything.
Make an account on this site so I tell you the reason behind the marriage through a PM.
Interesting stuff! But, with that said…
Sunset marrying Cloud Cover.

Mate, it’s pretty obvious no one give s two halves of a turd about this fanfic, let the guy have his fun.
I suggest seeing how the story plays out first. I already have an ending in mind that will prove somewhat interesting.
That’s not very respectful of you.
Who said he had to make it? I’d make it. At least, an alternate ending(s).
At least not the type of ending he expects. But yeah, the cover and title basically say it all.
You’re not gonna get him to write a “good” ending dude.
Give up.
Or until he finds a very much alive Sunset Shimmer executing him like Vlad the Impaler.
So, basically, someone’s gonna figure it out and beat the ever loving shit out of him.
This story certainly got more interesting now.
Not until it’s too late. >:)
So, one of the humane 5? And I’m gonna be more direct: Does Cluod Chaser suspect of anyone who could be, essentially, waiting for him to do something away from home? Someone who’s been tracking him, and also waits for the perfect moment?
His plan specifically relies on one of her guardians being in love with her. ;)
Is Cloud Cover aware of that which might be watching him? And I mean guardians, not friends.
