I am horribly disappointed that TV Tropes doesn’t have a trope called “Humans All Live In Humanville” to account for the way cartoon animals tend to have place names based on that kind of animal (like Ponyville or Duckburg, for example). They break the concept up over several tropes without coming right out and saying it.

Or maybe the founder were really racist, and names it that to keep out all the other species.

Probably not, since most people I know say they would HAAAATE Pinkie RL.  
Also some of the slice elements simply wouldn’t work at all or seem more hammy and forced. Nearly everyone I know hates the parts of WITCH dealing with the generic school shit.
