Can you believe the autocracy! Not only is she half responsible for the damage and could have brought the fight further away from town, but she makes her people pay for the damage as well. Enough is enough, we’ve seen the true face of evil!

Okay it’s crystals, not gemstones but still…

Not something that’d bring the episode down to me, but certainly something that crossed my mind.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Reminder that the princess of friendship who literally lives in a castle made of gemstones didn’t bother to fix this neither with magic nor funds until Diamond Tiara executed her plan (with her father’s funding).

oh damn, that reminds me of the thing that I can’t remember where it’s from.

But it’s Twilight writing to Celestias saying “Since the mayor won’t budget the repair of my tree-house I request 90% of canterlot’s books to fill my new castle”

None of the blasts were near Ponyville, so the damage was probably caused by shaking earth, which a building would have probably been built more resistant to than a bunch of swingsets.

I can’t believe that an elementary school didn’t immediately fix its heavily-damaged playground equipment. You’d think that would be the first thing they’d do.
