I think some earth ponies are strong as her in the past & preaent like Applejack & Big Mac, she’s stronger then big mac because she lift up a little school with ease
@PonyPon
I’m sure you can get better at magic within your range and become pretty darn awesome. No one can use all of it, but all can use some of it. If your talent was, say, healing, research might be needed to go from “it takes a lot out of you to repair a papercut” to “so, they said your brain tumor was inoperable, huh? Gimme five minutes.”
All unicorns aren’t Doctor Strange. But they don’t have to be for there to be plenty of a point in getting as good as you can be with whatever yours is for.
@Phantom Rider
Some people are suggesting Dilemma after the hedgehog dilemma, or “the desire to be close to others but the fear that closeness will bring harm to those they want to be close to”.
@Phantom Rider
Then what’s the damn point of all the magical research if much less than a handful of the population can actually use it?
I’m not saying any unicorn can move the sun if they try hard enough, I’m saying they should at least have some room for improvement.
Because surely, unicorns working within their own talents should be able to excel if they wish it? And not be hornblocked by the ‘you can’t be as good as Twilight Royalty’ rule the universe seems to work on when it comes to their magic.
At this point, I don’t know how it’s an issue anymore. We’ve seen it over and over and it was said outright by Celestia. At this point, when people ask “why do you need to ‘make’ earth ponies stronger,” it’s like asking why we feel the need to act like pegasi have wings. What I want to know is why some people need it to not be true. Isn’t it cool that Pinkie Pie can toss Bulk Biceps aside like he’s weightless, that Cheerilee can smash down doors and walls, that walls made of either metal or stone (it was hard to tell) are like glass before the ridiculously adorable Ms. Peachbottom?
@Serious B
I think the only thing that should separate normy unicorns from being comparable to Alicorns and Starswirl is effort and literacy.
Headcanons are free, of course, but I really don’t see how that’s show-supported. Early on, it was put to us quite clearly why there is exactly one Twilight Sparkle: most unicorns have a little magic related to their special talent but her special talent is magic itself. And Twilight is not in the same ballpark as Tia and Lulu yet. The idea that your average generic unicorn who can’t open a jar of peanut butter without Rainbow’s help (and whacking it a couple times for good measure) could just do some reading and be princess-class is pretty far removed from what the show gives us on magic.
@Reb4Ham
For the name… Iron Knuckle? I think that’s a Nintendo trademark. Not that ponies have knuckles anyway… They actually do, they call them fetlocks.
And here I thought it was weird that I made that connection! Well, it still is weird, but at least someone else is weird with me.
In Testing 1 2 3.
Flying machine? When did that happen?
Okay, that one sound cool. Looks like it’s even tagged already.
…I actually like that one
A cool name for a cute filly.

Could work.
Iron Fetlocks?

No idea what you have against boxes. Earth ponies and boxes are the best combo ever.
Also, you seem to be pretty offended over something yet I don’t understand what you’re upset about.
Now I imagine her ‘playing’ piano
