With Vinyl & Octavia Day 2024 of Equestria Daily drawing closer, I set up these pipe cleaner sculptures of Vinyl Scratch and Octavia in a little scenery I set up.

Many fanfictions and fanworks depict the relationship between Octavia Melody and Vinyl Scratch to be one in which Octavia bears all kinds of antics from Vinyl with immense dignity and classy aloofness. However, in the series we also see Octavia cheerfully breaking countenance and we also got lots of awesome fanwork of Octavia and her chello being a bane to changelings. Now I don’t expect that Vinyl would be in for the entire changeling treatment from the fanart, but I still don’t think that Octavia would always remain on the receiving end of Vinyl’s antics only or that it would always end in tragedy like in the amazing song “I am Octavia”, but Vinyl might be in for a merry chase here.
