That, and Raridash has had way more moments than things like raritwi for instance
You can’t say for sure she’s straight. She could just as easily be bi.
Some shippers have no problem shipping things just for fun because they like the pairings, not because they actually think the ship is canon or supported by canon (trying to cite “evidence” for it constantly). Which is completely valid of course, whatever makes people happy.

I never said once, anywhere, that people shouldn’t be allowed to ship Raridash. The opposite actually, I said very clearly in my post below that people should be able to ship whatever they want. And they should. But people also shouldn’t post things like this picture or try to bring up every inconsequential moment that exists from the cartoon in a discussion or argument in order to prove how “canon” a ship is and expect to be taken seriously is basically what I’m getting at.
Big Mac is a male and Rarity is the most blatantly heterosexual character on the show so even he would stand a better chance than another female.
Implying was even trying say one ship was better then the other.
And rarity’s had even less time on screen with Big Mac…
Sparity stands a better chance than Raridash. I’ll just come right out and say it. RariMac stand a better chance too.

If there’s a moment between two character in the show that people who ship them find cute, let them.

Because that’s totally not what every single shipper of any fandom has done, no matter how small a moment.

I said pretty much the same thing on a thread the other day.
Rarity and Dash do have some things in common. But you can grasp at straws and say the same for pretty much any two characters out there, if you try hard enough, and if those things haven’t ever really united them as friends, why would they unite them as lovers? Canon reality is neither of them have ever been shown to make much effort to get to know each other much outside of their group activities, they’re just casual friends with each other and both seem perfectly happy to leave it at that.
That’s not to say that you can’t ship them though. People have shipped characters for way less, even characters that have never met or that don’t actually have any canon personalities at all. And that’s fine. But to try to argue “evidence” or justification for this ship with canon moments (like this screencap) just comes off as laughable, yeah.
