I’m sure he wouldn’t have to be a prince for Rarity. He’s a unicorn, he has the royal white coat, and he holds a high position (Captain of the Royal Guard). I think Rares would be all over him if he hadn’t already been snatched up.

Basically you’re saying that he’s a “good” Blueblood anyway amirite?  
It’s a shame he was hidden in Twilight’s closet the whole first two seasons and never met Ry until he got married, or I could see her maybe fangirling over him.

TBH I was kind of disappointed when it turned out he was marrying Cadance, because it pretty much crossed out any possibility of Rarity hitting on him like she did with Blueblood.
