Apple Family Designs
I’m FINALLY happy enough with some of my Next Gen designs that I decided to post them. Whew!

Left to Right:

Dapple Haybail (Still unsure of the name)
This is the redesign of the green stallion from before. I wasn’t very comfortable with the green tbh. And my idea for his personality was really bland. A serious farm worker didn’t have enough meat for me. This big guy is the youngest of Applejack and Coloratura. Despite being intimmidatingly huge, he’s really a big clumsy sweetie pie. He’s aware of how his height can scare some ponies, so he often lowers his neck down to seem smaller. This quickely became a bad habit which resulted in a bad slouchy posture when he works and when he’s in town. He always seems to sit up straight around his Mom, Ma and Rarity however.

Sour Plum* (SugarMac redesign, not 100% on the cutie mark yet)
The old version was a little too saturated and not much thought went into her design before. Sour Plum is not the most social of ponies often looking rather bored and only anwers in signature grunts, much like her father’s “Eeyup”. She’s also very large for a mare and ponies are often either intimidated or threatened when she’s around. Due to this, ponies often believe that she either thinks that she’s too good for them or that she’s just sour. She specialises in plums in general. Fresh, pickled, dried or baked. She often bakes with her Ma, quiet but helpful in the kitchen. Sugarbelle understands that she finds it hard to socialise and does what she can in her cafe.

Allegra (The same really, just curlier)
From a first glance you’d never know Allegra was an Apple, the first born to the famed Applejack and Coloratura. Not even she knows that. Allegra was stolen away when she was young and was raised by Sven Gallop in Manehatten. She grew up to be the city’s classical crown jewel. A renowned model and opera singer, she has the reputation as an Ice Princess. You know you’re in trouble when she gives the signature glare, especially when you bring up her heritage, or lack there of. Sven has raised her to believe that her parents had gave her away and has since harboured a very deep hatred for them, whoever they may be.

So here you go. I’m pretty satisfied with how these one’s are now. If you’ve any insight to some of the things I’m unsure about, I’d love to hear them. The sooner I can get those done, the sooner I can start working on their bios.
