Toes (i.e. the hoof) being in place of the foot isn’t really different from toes being in place of the ankle, both anatomically and visually, therefore it’s still incorrect foot anatomy, which is the tag that describes stub-legs, among other things, and allows searching or filtering them. Though people who filter them probably already filtered your artist tag entirely.

Reminder that 1: birds just have super tiny thighs and 2: in both insects and bats, the entire leg is reversed, as far as I know there aren’t cases where knee and ankle joints bend in the same direction as it would be for “backwards knee”.

Yeah, that’s the beauty of fanart, and the fact there’s no definitive official anthro’ MLP character design. Fans can design them however they want. (And it’s nice that fans still make original humanized designs regardless of EqGirls giving them official human designs.)
Not really a fan of the “unguligrade” legs, (especially when artists make them practically like backwards-knee bird legs) but I’ve seen some fanartists pull it off very well sometimes.

It would look more realistic, sure… but that’s what I like about My Little Pony. It’s NOT realistic. In the show, when the forelegs are straight, for instance, no joint is visible whatsover. It’s just a cylinder, or truncated cone. I love this super-simplified design, and wanna stick fairly close to it.
I appreciate your viewpoint, though, and your civility especially. :)
Not a thing that seriously bothers me, but I think it would be good if the leg tapered more, then the hoof got bigger in a way? Would make it a bit clearer that there’s a joint there in a way. I think that as is, it can look like the knee is the last joint, and from there it goes straight down into a hoof.
Of course, it’s your art, do what you want with it. Just a thought.

Edited because: Eliminate redundancy

When I do pony anthros, I just give ‘em humanized legs, with pony hooves sort’ve shaped like feet, but still hoof-like.
