Twilight mindlessly murders 40 Pinkie Pies, and Trixie’s the designated psychopath? That makes sense.

I kind of want Twilight to ascend to Alicorn status during the final battle, utterly crushing Trixie.
 
Beaten and broken, Trixie’s facade finally crumbles and she bursts into tears, revealing that she came back to Ponyville to prove her superiority not to the ponies there, but to herself, because she didn’t have nearly as fortunate an upbringing as Twilight did. If she could beat Twilight, the Element of Harmony, a pony who got everything on a silver platter, with her own self-taught skills, Trixie could say her life was at least moderately worth it. As it stands, nothing she has ever done has amounted to anything, and all she has ever accomplished is hurting other ponies. Worthless.
 
Twilight looks on with a mix of pity and disgust, but then remembers how weak and powerless and aimless she was, and how Celestia took her under her wing out of the simple kindness of her heart, and molded her into the successful unicorn she is today. And so she does the same.
