Yeah I expected this kind of response. It’s OK. I was just bored.
Man, talk about a delayed response.
They are boring. They’re just canon fodder for the heroes to beat.
Goblins? You’ll have to elaborate, because the way goblins act varies greatly from story to story.
I like the changelings as the show and comic portrays them, because I like there being at least one faction of beings in the MLP universe that is irredeemably evil.
If you ask me I think that the changelings in the comics are wasted potential. They are made the equivalent of goblins and they are ignorable and forgettable.
That could make for an interesting story. Though personally, and especially given their backstory in the comics, I’ve come to see changelings in canon as pestilence incarnate.
Well for one they are themselves part-insect and insects, with bees among them being a great similarity most fans use for changelings, have a great connection with nature. Let’s not forget that the original myth of the changelings referred to them as Fae or fairies which are often tied to nature. My headcanon now takes it to the next level and makes them really connected to nature and land both in a druidic way and a shamanistic way. Think avatar here. One of the changeling OCs I have is tied greatly to water and can actually “fly” through it.
Really? I don’t really quite see it, do you mind elaborating?
I believe that Chrysalis’s species in general has more nature-driven powers than you think. At least my headcanon says so. It would be like the Night Elves having an inclination to nature-loving.
Basically, a specialist Mage.
Not really. I mean yes, it’s a very big part of what they are as a class (especially if they’re feral/guardian), but there’s more to them than that.
In order to properly feel like a druid, a character has to have ecomantic powers. Chrysalis doesn’t do the whole ecomancer thing at all, which really hurts her chances of being seen as a druid. (after all, plenty of things in warcraft can shapeshift besides druids, but only druids have ecomancy).
Druids are not only about shapeshifting. Some don’t shift at all.
