@Carter Resado
Yah, fluttershy seems like a better fit. Both started out shy and weak, but then became braver, and for carol she also became hardened. I can see flutter shy being warped and hardened by a zombie apocalypse. Another fit might be marble pie
@Chopsticks
I agree the bulging breasts and underwear and shit is ridiculous, and it’s not that I don’t think grimdark can’t work in mlp, I think it can very well actually, and I feel like there’s lots of untapped potential with the characters but it is a children’s show so I can see why it doesn’t really delve into grimdark territory, I just feel like putting RD overtop of carol is extremely random lol. It’s well drawn tho.
@Prometheus labs CEO
As has been said already, The Walking Dead was referencing Of Mice And Men, so a reference to that scene in TWD would also have to be a reference to OMAM.
@Meanlucario
Whered u come from? No i get that but why does there need to be an MLP Rendition of this. Why?
I don’t like ponies being drawn in underwear, and I don’t even like the EQG characters being drawn in underwear. I generally don’t like clop and where it can lead the fandom. Every time I see posts with characters in skimpy swimwear or gigantic, unrealistic breasts bulging through suction-cup t-shirts or just a scene with the characters in their underwear… I say, “That’s so unnecessary.”
So I totally understand your feelings.

Yet, here I am, having drawn this (and much worse). Emotional value, grimdark material, I like to mix cute and dark and sad. I love Flutterbuse, not because I hate Fluttershy, but because seeing her hurt, sad, and crying makes her more adorably cute and lovable.
I like to make my audience cry, sometimes angry at the fiction, and express and get in touch with many emotions, not just joy and happiness. I dislike and disagree with sexualizing the pony-based characters, but there’s no way I can stop it nor will I even try.
I… uh.. that’s not quite what I mean but okay.

Emm, Nothing?
It’s from both.

This is from the walking dead, not of mice and men
What sparked people to draw ponified Silent Hill, or fics like Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory.
I mean its an interesting concept i just cant help but wonder what the hell sparked it lmao
Why not? Everything else has one. It’s not even the only one.
It really doesnt.
Because everything needs ponification.
Whered u come from? No i get that but why does there need to be an MLP Rendition of this. Why?
Because she has a emotional connection with Scoots.

@Chopsticks
So it’s a reference to a reference. Neat.
I’ve learned over time that apparently The Walking Dead got it from Of Mice and Men.
