The aftermath of King Sombra’s attack rendered Lovely Promise’s magic uncontrollable, resulting in her separation from Crystal in both studies and social events. Despite harboring a degree of remorse, Crystal, influenced by her parents and the trauma of the incident, reluctantly agreed that this separation was in Lovely’s best interest. Consequently, she distances herself from Lovely during family gatherings, maintaining a cordial but distant demeanor to prevent further attachments from forming.
