EqG is the spin-off, is a general term for it.
When it says “spin-off” I think they mean the entire Equestria Girls universe itself. So just the movies. They are what’s considered the spin-off.

oh well, as long as the main show does not get time and money cuts i am ok with it.
But there’s a mention of a spin-off. And the movie was also announced right after that spin-off, while not explicitly saying that it’s the said spin-off.
You could be right, though.
Movie, there is another movie coming, no a series.
It would be fun to see shy, awkward, glasses Twi’ in the pony world. (Considering we already got plenty of awkwardness of pony Twi’ in the human world.)
I kinda like how the comic above shows she’s not an alicorn like her pony counterpart. (Hidden by her saddlebags.) Nothing against Twilicorn, but it’s nice to see more differences between the two Twilights if you put ’em side by side.
I don’t know. This contradiction sorta dizzies me.

Would be a good episode, though I think they stated they were going to try to keep both the MLP:FiM & EqG series separate. So I doubt we’ll get any crossovers between the two. (Aside from what we saw in the movie trilogy.)
