Everyone seems to forgotten Spoiled Rich, especially since she raised Diamond Tiara to be an entitled brat, and when she fell short of living up to being like her good-for-nothing-mother the little filly gets abused.

I love Trixie and Starlight, I like Lightning Dust, I like Cozy Glow, I kind of like Suri. I hate Sludge, I hate Angel. I’m indifferent towards everyone else here.

How did Trixie make this list? Where are all these people who dislike her? I don’t think I’ve ever run across one.
 
…Okay, I didn’t used to be a fan of her (I warmed up to her after “All Bottled Up”, the first episode in which I felt she was legitimately hilarious), but even then it was more “meh” than “wow I hate her”, and even then nobody seemed to be on my side.

I like Trixie, so what she likes to showboat and boast, so does RD.
 
I like to think of these villians/antagonists in groups, This is the bratty Teen group
 
Lightning Dust is just one of them teenagers that never grew up, reckless and doesn’t think straight but isn’t deliberately malicious.  
Zephyr Breeze is cringy, sorta a Do**he bag, unmotivated and lazy, damn, LD and ZB should hook up, maybe they will balance each other out.  
Angel Bunny is the biggest A there is, clingy, demanding, and a complete jerk to everyone and everything. So what if it is “hard” being a bunny, Fluttershy gives more love and care to this ungrateful rat than any other of her animals and he still bites the hoof that feeds him.
 
Then you have the group of protagonist that I hate because not of their ignorance but because they knew what they were doing. Sludge and Sven are grouped as they knew what they did to rise themselves up.
 
Sludge purposly manipulated a child to take advantage and mooch off of a child, by exploiting the child’s wish to know their own father. That is despicable.
 
Sven Gallop was another big A, riding on the coattails of a celebrity to raise themselves up, never cared for his client only in the freebies and fame that came along with it. A close contender with Wind Rider because both only see themselves and neither of others. No different than sludge
 
Now comes the group that they knew what they were doing, and did it not only to rise themselves up but to take the person they were leaching from, out.
 
Suri Polomare is another one that goes here and she thought that if she could not only ride the coattails of Rarity she could move ahead, but she deliberately stole her designs and tried to root her out from the competition on hopes that she would win by default which would of greatly expanded her business venture.
 
Wind Rider purposely tried to get rid of a new recruit only because she was threatening his record. He fabricated a well thought out scheme to implicate her in misconduct to get her kicked (would that even be a court marshall?) from the Wonderbolts. He knew what he was doing and the deliberate, pre-meditated scandal he tried to fabricate should leave him behind bars.
 
Then you have the “Special” cases
 
Starlight Glimmer hell bent on revenge on Twilight in a blind rage, messed with unbeknownst magic to seek that revenge at the expense of the entire world. She could of had just trapped her in Tartarus or something but nope, let’s mess with time and see what happens. But this may sound similar to Trixie right? Revenge and all? Yeah then there was that whole mind washed village and she knew exactly what she was doing. But on no, all is forgiven, she becomes “besties” with twilight, replaces her as to “fill in” for another unicorn (since twilight is now an alicorn) and proves to be the prodigy of magic when Twilight is the element of magic. Nothing feels organic, nothing feels natural. It is all forced and shoe horned in and the constant “forgiveness” is just bologna. It there was a sense of unease from everyone as they try to open up or give her a chance, perhaps I would be so harsh on a poorly written character.
 
Cozy is just evil, simply put. Cute, adorable, manipulative and the true mastermine behind trying to rule the entire world.
 
Now those are good reasons to all hate on the villians/protagonists but I also love them. They make good villains. I liked how Starlight is to smart, manipulative, and haves these lines of thought that is “devious”. Cozy is just fascinating to see how a child can act like an adult to manipulate others. Wind Rider set up a mystery to implicate RD and is one of my favorite episodes for how well it was written. Suri was another well written episode that you have to love the set up and the manipulation behind the scenes. The teens, eh, they are obnoxious hah. Zephyr is cringy some times but has a comical element to him that I get a chuckle out of. Angle though, completely unredeemable.

I used to hat zephyr breeze to the point he pissed me off but now I like him mostly because he reminds me of a dead lead singer I like

Starlight was horrible and I didn’t like her at first but now I like watching her. Wind Rider is a great design but I don’t really like him. Sven is just an A-hole like his namesake. L.D.is just crazy enough to be fun. She’s Rainbow with a different personality disorder. Angel isn’t exactly likeable but is a great foil for Fluttershy. Suri is a complete jerk. If she pats you on the back its only because she’s looking for a place to put her dagger. Zeph is legend in his own mind. Worthless. Trixie is one of my favs. I never took her as evil, just weird. Sludge is yet another self centered manipulator. Obnoxious. Cozy is a good villain and is fun to watch.

Pretty sure the people who hate Starlight are a minority.

Those three plus Cozy seem to be well-loved by the fandom, with Starlight being more divisive than hated, mainly due to The Cutie Remark and Every Little Thing She Does. Angel and Zephyr also have their fans.
