Well, only one person has to. And they probably do it because 1. they find it funny and 2. they know other people will also find it amusing. And they’d be right, given that the image has 50 upvotes. If going through the show and finding amusing screencaps is enjoyable for someone, it’s hardly a waste to do it.
What’s bad is that people treat it like a legitimate argument. Even when an insult has obvious flaws, they just go “it’s humor” and “you can’t take it” and it’s suddenly impervious to criticism, simply because it was declared a joke.
They act like something can’t simultenously be a joke and subject to criticism as something else, though they certainly think something can be both a joke and a valid point while still being “just a joke”.
Eh…That thing you said is very common in any fandom. You do not need to be sad.
It’s sad that people turn laughter into hate. Some of them claim that thinking about things instead of “taking” them is somehow a disability.
The bulk of us would laugh with the creators, being able to laugh at ourselves in the mirror.
The small but vocal minority would be totally butthurt.
(FWIW, most A! fans love that short, and can laugh with it)

Anyway, they can’t be shipping RD and FS, since they already shipped RD and AJ in “Castle Mane-ia”. Unless… they’re setting us up for an episode where RD has to choose between AJ and FS! Squee! Stereotypical romantic plotlines at last!
Don’t give me that whole “don’t like, don’t look” bullcrap. This is supposed to be an innocent screenshot. Shipping is fanon. When you cross those beams, overreacting and stupidity ensues. Excuse me for objecting to that. I’ll gladly block the tag for this episode and step out of your way.
