decided to expand Twilight and Flash’s family a little. Which version of their family do you like better?
 
When Twilight and Flash found out they were pregnant they immediately set up a room in the castle and Twilight began reading up on how to be a parent. When the day finally came the realized they’d never actually discussed names. The conversation that followed went something like this: “It’s a simple question!” “I like that” “What?” “Simple Question. It fits her…”  
Simple Question grew up as a princess but was never interested in politics. She instead spent most of her time in the library like her mother had as a young mare. Not nearly as antisocial Twilight had been, Simple easily makes friends. She likes to spend her time in her personal lab, finding answers and making leaps forward in science and magic. She’s trained under not only her mother, but Zecora and her aunts Celestia, Luna and Cadence. Despite not being a Pegasus she is very close to her father, and has learned not only the cloud walking spell but the gossamer wing spell allowing her to spend time with him in the air. Shortly before Simple started school Twilight had twins, Sun Spot, her only son, and Lilac Luster. Both were born alicorns like their cousin Flurry Heart from the Crystal Empire. This bothered Simple at first, but after one of her cousins was born a normal unicorn like herself she calmed down. The baby alicorns quickly took to their big sister and despite their superior magic, turned to her often for comfort or protection.

Personality: Curious and logical she tends to analyze everything. She loves her friends and while she tries to avoid the political scene of Equestria, leaving it to her cousins.

Personality: Rough and tumble Sun wants to be just a soldier just like his daddy.

Lilac Luster:  
Personality: A quiet shy little filly who sticks close to her family at all times. She loves music and enjoys singing for her family but is too shy to do so for other ponies.  
Cutie Mark: A potion with a star and smoke in the shape of a question mark  
Occupation: School, princess.
