In the defense of the character, not a single Shadowbolt I’ve seen actually have bright colours at all. It’s a nice contrast.

Artist is a female, and yes this was a commission. Regardless of that though, this is still someone’s character whether or not it’s in a design you approve of it’s still pretty rude to rip into it unbidden.

Ugh. A red and black striped pegasus with red eyes in a shadowbolts uniform? I really hope this was a commission. I hate to see an artist of this guy’s caliber waste on tripe like this, but if he was getting paid, well, at least they were just doing a job.
