Because at face-value, it has two things going on that they hate. You can’t expect people to click it, and look INTO it before downvoting it…
I guarantee you that some people just saw it on the homepage in its thumbnail form, and straight up thumbed it down from there without even clicking it.
THAT is the effect Flash Sentry has, not to mention canon x OC pairings, and OCs in general.
Well why downvote it if people don’t know the context behind the picture? Like reading the story this picture was based from.
Flash + OC = Double-negative… sadly, that does NOT lead into a positive.
