Starlight’s town is much like Stalin’s, claiming about equality but it’s about sameness, turning into more like what communism actually swore to destroy, “the elite system” which is the main target from capitalism to be destroyed by the past communists.

Starlight Glimmer is proof that the fandom doesn’t actually have a concept of what is and isn’t quality when it comes to OCs, and the monkeys yelling “This OC is shit” “This OC is overpowered!” “This OC is a Mary Sue!” are just making mouth noises.

It fills me with burning rage whenever Starlight is said to be ‘communist’ or somesorts, because that’s even more BS than the SJW interpretation. All it does is show how little one knows about either. Then again I blame shitty writing for spawning the whole thing in the first place, it was like, how many grossly misrepresentative stereotypes can you fit into two episodes?

Maybe I should clarify. The imagery on the left side isn’t just about Starlight, herself, but also the show’s reaction to her. That is to say, I expected Cutie Map to be essentially a strawman of SJW-ism (not that they need one) getting a reduntant, heavy-handed verbal beat-down with fedora’d right-lib rhetoric from the main six. This is a big reason why I was intensely satisfied with her telling Twilight to shove her sermon on friendship up her ass. There are some more subtle aspects to this image as well, but I don’t think anyone cares.
