Sent them to you in a PM. :)
Oh god yes please.
Aww, shucks. <3 Man, look at that old ass art. haha
I recently built the archives for those ask blogs. If you want them I can point you in the direction. Only one not done yet is Celestilee.
Understood. And that reminds me - I need to sort through the sets of files I picked up back during the initial tumblrpocalypse. Which I only stopped downloading because I’d run out of harddrive space at the time.
Yeah. We really want to preserve a snapshot of what the fandom has created. And even complete runs of some really awesome sequential comics, you know, those comics that were so perfect and that some of us never ever can get enough of and keep going back to re-read because they scratch an itch we didn’t even know we had, but so many of which got smote during the tumblr diaspora. Not just for this generation of the show, but all of them, If we’re still doing this a couple generations of the show from now, that will be pretty interesting to see. We’re archivists. It’s what we do. It’s why we don’t mind if someone floods the site with pages of some artists stuff - gotta catch em all.

No calamity - and we’re not going anywhere. But some folks still have old piles of artwork going back to 2010, and now that this generation is wrapping some folks are just doing spring cleaning. I’ve got literally gigabytes of stuff from 2010 and 2011.
Alright, just making sure. I didn’t see any big warning notices at the top of the site, but I may have been out of the loop recently. Cool.
Not likely. I think it’s an archival desire that has been present since the founding of Derpi.
The show ending might heighten it, but I doubt the site is in danger.
That sounds worrying. Is some sort of calamity approaching?
Yeah, it’s kind of what we hoped for. Lots of folks going through their old folders of stuff from the before times.
A board on Ponychan.
