I am aware of her physical separation from the rest of the VAs, I do concede your point for a contractual and/or audition reasoning, I just hope its not the case.
According to IMDB, Tara hasn’t done any other voices on the show besides Twilight. Remember that she records remotely, unlike the other VAs - perhaps the logistics of her situation make it impractical to audition for other voices. Or maybe she has different contract clauses that prevent her from taking on additional roles (or only allow it in exchange for a large pay hike).
Perhaps so, but to me it sounded almost identical so if their goal was to have a different voice then they failed as far as I can tell.
My guess is that the crew prefered her voice to the one Tara can make, or maybe they didn’t want Maud to be to sound like Raven.
You know if they did there would be someone going “Why the hell did they have Tara do her voice”, just let it be.
