The real question here is why Applejack never introduced herself.
Storywriter: Personally I think it would be easy enough to divide the main characters of MLPFiM up and pair them with the Crystal Gems considering similar personality traits and other character traits:
Twilight and Rarity: Pearl.
Applejack and Fluttershy(especially later seasons fluttershy (season 5 spoilers) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6r5Z7W-J5k ): Garnet.
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie: Amethyst.
Spike and the CMCs: Steven
Also I dont know Pearls actual fan nickname(if she has one), but thats the one Id give her.
Oh and umpretend Twilight has wings. Im not even sure if theres an Alicorn Twilight model for MMD yet.

normally that’ll be what we SHOULD call her, but it’s testament to how much damaging character-wise was ‘we need to talk’ to pearl that salty and thirsty is almost her default description now (‘ccy for help’ did NOT help her out)

Salt has become associated with hateful or spite-ridden actions.
What does that have to do with Salt? I found a fitting slang defition of thirsty, but not salty, and neither “salt” nor “thirst” make any sense in the context of replacing “bird mom”.
Kind of an inside joke regarding the show. Long story short, Pearl was super jealous of Greg in the past, and she tried getting to him not only by dancing with Rose, but pointing out how humans couldn’t fuse with gems.
Things worked out in the end, though.

The Galaxy Girls don’t even have a cartoon(In spite of Faust’s best efforts), and Steven Universe isn’t based on a toy series. Does Steven Universe even have a toy line yet?
