Entry for Equestria Daily’s Artist Training Grounds Day 14! The prompt was: “Draw a ponifed fairy tale, nursery rhyme or legend.”
One cute fairy tale I remember as a kid is Thumbelina! For anyone who’s never read it, this tiny thumb-sized girls goes around being smol, riding around on lily pads and whatnot. It’s quite charming to imagine. I reread the summary on Wikipedia before this as a refresher and uh, I can see why it’s not a very common fairy tale any more given that most of the plot seems to be strangers trying to coerce this girl into marriages with random toads and moles and who-knows-else. I’ll admit I had forgotten those details.
Anyway, Fluttershy is cute, tiny things are cute, Fluttershy + tiny = extra cute!
