Agreed. It’s nice to see them do this slice of life stuff as the main thing for a change.
In fact, the last time a more “serious” episode was widely well-received was “The Perfect Pear.”
A great episode, but we can’t always expect MLP to be some kinda “epic drama.”

Well, the point of Pony Life is about having fun and being fun.
Taking away those things and trying to take it ‘more seriously’ only loses it’s charm and becomes something less enjoyable.
Let cartoons for kids be cartoons for kids and not try and turn into a fanservice anime for creeps.

I agree, I always felt like they did the silly slice of life stuff better than the serious stuff (as good as it could be) so Pony Life is shaping up well imo.
With all the fans insisting MLP needs to be “more serious,” it’s actually refreshing to hear that.
I wonder if he would look good if he cleaned up. Shave that sorry excuse for a moustache, get a nice haircut, take a bath, and put on some clean clothes
The criteria still stands. Dishwater Slog here is a pretty good sign that Pony Life may pass, too.
