Before Nightmare Moon’s return, Twilight Sparkle spent time studying the stars. She then discovered a white dwarf with an iron core orbiting it. It was the remnants of an old solar system, from a time when the Sun-like star exploded. frying the planets, and stripping them of their natural resources. Unfortunately for her, Nightmare Moon has returned, making it her eternal night. Knowing this, she decided to leave her astronomy results behind and go with the Mane 6 to defeat Nightmare Moon.
