I read that actually, but it still makes me wonder. Is it a plot point that wouldn’t make sense before 9 or 10 or is it a holiday special (which wouldn’t make sense since there’s no holiday in January).

My headcanon is that episode 8 had a lot of Derpy in it, and Hasbro needs to work extra hard to erase all traces of her existence in that episode, so it was pushed back.
