I think Animated and Beast Wars are tied as favorites for me. As for Prowl and the ABC Warriors, the same apparently goes for Soundwave.
That’s cool & all, but doesn’t really have that much to do with what I was talking about.

Yeah, Transformers Animated was pretty great. It’s my favorite Transformers show.
Apparently his triangular optics were inspired by something called “ABC Warriors”.
Oddly, when I see those kind of sunglasses, I think Prowl.
Red colors are known for helping one’s eyes adapt to the darkness far more quickly.
He lived underground most of his life, thats why his shades are orange/redish.
Part of the reason it kind of bothers me is that Kamina’s own shades were distinctively orange. Sure Gurren has a black pair, but no one calls out its name when they see the usual black shades most characters who wear them have, only Kamina’s.
Sure I guess he might have owned it, but he owned it in a very distinct colour.

Why does it seem like everyone thinks the shades made of two triangles originated with Kamina anyways?
I too remember Ash’s squirtle having similar shades long before Kamina existed.
If the former, I’ll pick her. If the latter, I’ll take Squirtle Belle and spare Scoots.
