Safe to say, she didn’t like it very much. Perfectly understandable though, the new reboot is bad in a LOT of ways…

YOUNG girls that probably watched that episode….. Please don’t twerk. Dafudge did they do to the PPG’s? They were so cute and then they have them twerking! WHAT THE FUDGE MAN! (Sorry if I went Neon Lights on people who might be reading this.)
That ending singlehandedly ruined the episode. Damn executives…
Yeah, that was the one.
Was that the clown/mime episode? It seemed a bit excessive giving him a beating before throwing him in jail.
The irony is that, at one point, the execs demanded more violence: the Girls were supposed to forgive one villain whose crime was accidental and have a party with him, but the suits said that would send a bad message, so out of spite they had him get a vicious beatdown instead.
Because looking high on acid and shaking butt is okay while the “violence” of beating up monsters from the original series have to be toned down is too much for the young and sensitive minds.
Apparently.
But…but they’re kindergartners..Soccer moms won’t allow fantasy violence in PPG (even though that’s what made PPG popular), but they can say yes to this?
Oh I miss that meme.
Not even HIM could think to use such….poison to pollute the minds of children.
Oh…my God. What have they done? TPPG was actually a quite clever show that knew just the right comedic notes to pull and when to be seriously creepy (HIM…shudder)…not…THIS.
Yes, because we missed this from our childhood. So of course this need to be added for kids of this generation.
I found it:
At it’s best and worst, the reboot is just boring. As a powerpuff girls show it’s still bland
If you reskined the anime to not be powerpuff girls, it’s still pretty boring. As a powerpuff girls adaptation, it tries to make sense and explain things that didn’t need explaining (EX: the girls didn’t explode they got radiation poisoning from
chemical Xchemical y, the origin of HIM, why the talking dog can talk)True, at least PPG Z can still act as a generic magical girl anime on it own.
I rather watch that one over this reboot.
I’m thinking of actual writers…ahem Ayn Rand…Terry Pratchett…
I’m sorry if it seems like I’m cowarding behind a character just to give my opinion, that was never my intention (never even thought of it that way) I just had the idea and really wanted to draw something for once, so I made this comic for shits and giggles.
I can see your point, but in the end it’s just a harmless comic based on my opinion on the new reboot of the beloved Powerpuff Girls, and I just thought it would be funny if Pinkamena was the one to spill the beans.

When you design your own character, you decide what they think and believe. You don’t have this luxury with a character who you neither created nor hold the exclusive right to interpret. In practice it’s not very different from claiming a real person said something they never did.
Furthermore, Lucky Shot is me – he doesn’t have his own persona. Elytra and Exuvia would; while mine, they aren’t me. It would be detrimental to the characters and my reputation as a writer to obviously possess them like the devil, but it would still be my right to make them say or think whatever I wanted, because I created them and I decide what their personae are.
No examples come readily to mind though :o
Because I can’t put sound effects or different tone of voice into a comment itself, and bold, nor strike, nor underline felt fitting.
725 mouthpiece tags show that it happens though. I think half of them might be parodies, since I can’t take them all that seriously.
Is it any less of a mouthpiece to have your own OC say your opinions? There is always just writing essays or articles on the internet anywhere you think people will read it.
It gives the impression that the individual doesn’t stand by their opinion enough to say it themselves.
