Good to see someone using Zoroastrianism in fiction. I tried that some years ago myself though I was aiming more for the pre-Zoroastrian Persian paganism. I.e., Ardvi Sura Anahita, Verethragna, Vayu, and the other gods.

Regardless, the pony depicted here almost certainly isn’t Clover the Clever. In Forgotten Friendship, Clover was depicted as male in the scroll he wrote and illustrated. With such conflicting information, I’m not sure how accurate it is to use the “Clover the Clever” tag here. Also worth noting is the Clover is brought up in this episode only in the context of a historical artifact. As another user here pointed out, just because the original artifact belonged to Clover doesn’t necessarily mean he was the only one to have ever used it.

Really, they earlier depict Clover as a stallion, and his cloak is completely different:
