Still, it just LOOKS painful, but then again we all find beauty in symmetry.

Since wings are technically reshaped arms it’s not beyond any avian’s ability to extend one and keep the other retracted.

Extending just one wing looks… painful.

I dug around quickly online, even on Kloud’s dA, but the gallery was scrubbed down recently so there is no source there.
 
However, I dove into a sea of folders from a failed attempt at categorising my pony picture downloads and found that this is indeed a kloudmutt piece. Title was “Fluttershyness” when I dl’d it off of dA.
 
A reverse image search on tineye tosses up Kloudmutt’s dA, but the links are long since dead.
 
Looks like Derpibooru is the only source right now.
