Even if we did, there’s no guarantee whatsoever that they would A) be better in principle than what we got, and more importantly B) executed any better than what we got. It reminds me of Drew Karpyshyn’s original plans for Mass Effect, and although they are better than what we got, again there’s no guarantee that they would’ve succeeded in the execution.

I’m still sticking to the theory that it’s not permanent…Even with what Meghan McCarthy was saying in the EW article. If Hasbro can get them to give Twi wings for one episode, they can still sell $50 alicorn-Twi toys. Plus, it just seems so…wrong to me that Meghan wouldn’t talk to Lauren more about something like this, or know more about what Lauren’s original plans for Twi were. Who knows, maybe they did talk about it, maybe Hasbro pressured them into it, maybe it’s NOT going to be permanent…only time will tell, and I’m not going to draw conclusions until I see the episode. I’m all for change and the show being an ever-changing, living thing, but it would be a shame if something like this would happen and totally mess up Lauren’s original plan. I just still really doubt it will be permanent. We shall see….

She didn’t watch it, she turned away because she doesn’t want to see how it turns out without her. She said herself that she did everything she wanted in S1, and doesn’t want to know anything past that because she doesn’t:

I don’t have a problem with this turn of events, in all honesty… But regarding Faust, talk about a slap in the face. On one hoof she brought her favorite thing ever back from the brink and made it a relevant thing. On the other, she has watched her creation slowly become utterly bastardized, even if that “bastardization” is still a damned good show all things considered.

Everyone thinks it means this was not her plan.
