Idunno. I think it’s the black frame that does it for me. If that had been a fade or entirely left out, I probably would’ve let it slide. Also, I kind of expected the white frame, but not the black one.

The white flash is three frames. Frames one and three are at 50% transparency, two is 0% transparent. It does appear as two flashes.
