Well motivations are a little skewed right now with 2 of the main cast corrupted.
Thank you for your complements on the design, I’d say the credit would have to be at least 70% down to Sevireth translating my desriptions into the visuals (and in quite a few cases adding in their own).
I really like yours though! My favorite was your design. But anyway.
I thought about it more to try and pin down the exact “thing” that’s confusing me. I think it’s the character motivation here, in particular, which I do expect to be revealed. It’s just one of those “Holy Mother Blindsided Batman” things.
I think it’s because we’re usually a bit spoiled with the character monologue. In real life people don’t do that, but in entertainment media an audience is impatient (see: Me).
So I think that sort of “Wait, what?” feeling is a lot stronger even now.
It’s okay I have left a little to be explained later, for example I’ve only hinted in just HOW involved Discord has been in this.
Fafaeli the Deer picked the apple up in Question 55 with her transformation occurring offscreen and her reveal happening later on.
I can understand people missing the odd update as they don’t get reblogged around as much as many other tumblrs.
Well I put it in quotes because I’m just remarking that it’s oddly difficult to follow.
But thank you so much for the summary. I recall the tree, but not sure why she’d be grabbing the apple or flipping out.
The reason I find it difficult to follow is because I’m not sure what already has been answered (see: The apples from the tree - which I don’t recall seeing her pick up?) and what is to be answered.
…but I also follow something like ~400 tumblr’s. So. I sorry. D:
The cooruption came from an apple, the apple came from a corrupted tree, the corrupted tree came from the seeds of the first corrupted apple that was experimented on by Roboshi using the evil ooze that was leaking from the klein-o-scope.
I’m kind of confused about this weird “plot hole”. We don’t know why she flipped out (I didn’t know the fucking deer thing was a she, but I’m a derp), or anything at all (Apples? What?)
It’s almost like we went from a continuous story in to something in medias res, with no clear transition.
I GUESS they’re going to clear it up. But that lack of a thematic/narrative transition is uh…unique.
