Especially since Brotherhooves shows that the “sister” doesn’t have to be female, much less a sibling. (Incidentally, one of my favorite fics has Amethyst Star (called Sparkler there) as Dinky’s sister – probably based on the Sisterhooves animation – and Derpy as their mother.)
And, y’know. Them standing together could just indicate that the older one has a rapport with the younger one. I don’t take Diamond Mint to be related to Tornado Bolt just because they talked to each other (Call of the Cutie), though I wouldn’t argue against someone deciding that they’re sisters.

As children you see your parents as some sort of gods - you rely on them for protection and care, and they are and make your world - they’re the one you go to for help when you need it, the ones who protect and take care of you. You live in a world without the depths of fear that only adults know - because at some level you know mommy’s gonna make it all okay. To take that away from a child by showing that their “mommy” is mortal and can be defeated…
Though there’s also the interpretation where Dinky is Derpy’s little sister.
Though it’s interesting to note that Dinky entered the Sisterhooves Social with Amethyst Star.

To tell the truth, I had a pretty serious accident in january and I’m still struggling with that. I spent months in a wheelchair, then with crutches. Not a fun time, I can assure you of that.

Feeling Pinkie Keen was the one with Pinkie Sense and the hydra.
Don’t forget, the fact that Twilight wasn’t killed in Feeling Pinkie Keen means that pegasi have inertial damping powers as well.
