Did it never occur to you that the reason Rainbow’s parents, who meant well and only wanted to support her, continued to act this way because she never made it known that she didn’t like it until she blew up in their faces?
 
Of course not, because you wanted her to feel “vindicated” and stick it to her parents for having the gall of not being mind readers.
 
I get it, some parents are a-holes. But that just because your parents were a-holes doesn’t mean everyone else’s are too, including fictional ones.

And her aunts were no better. “Growing up, I never thought I’d be the best at anything because nopony ever told me.” And the first time we see them, they’re trying to pawn her off on someone else and it’s heavily implied if not outright stated that they do this often.

In my opinion, that was waaaay too subtle and barely noticeable to really matter.

Yeah. I couldn’t help but feel both Scootaloo and Dash’s parents were the ones in the wrong. Sure, Dash took the wrong approach, but Dash should’ve been the teacher for them, not the other way around.

Errr yeah, she should be grateful. Dashes parents are awesome. Though dash has shown to be one who tents to fly away from some certain problems that she can’t physically handle head on.  
Yeah they got a bit annoying but if no one tells them it’s a problem then they’re gunna keep doing it.

I probably would have been fine with this episode’s ending if Rainbow’s parents learned a lesson as well, and they made it clear that they did. Instead, it honestly feels like the conflict went completely unresolved.

Oh, boo-hoo, she made her invasive and embarrassing parents cry. Rainbow Dash was completely in the right to yell at them to knock their shit off. Just because she wasn’t gentle about it doesn’t invalidate her words. No one is obligated to stick by people who treat them poorly.

That’s one hell of a take you have there.  
She tore into her parents and told them to get lost and made them cry. She didn’t show any remorse until Scootaloo called her out on it.
 
And like I said they weren’t “humiliate” or “harass” her, and if that’s how she felt she should have said something before hand instead of bottling up her frustration. Like I said her parents didn’t think they were doing anything wrong and were saying they were

Really that is what the episode should have gone for infact I think that’s what the parent map did.  
It didn’t put starlight and sunburst in the wrong for having those feelings It put them in the wrong fun not talking to them sooner and just exploding at them Even have the parent admit they were going too far

Probably is the way I was raised but in my opinion you should never snap at your parents, you talk to them and if they don’t understand then leave as soon as you are able.

I still don’t get this mindset at all. Instead of addressing them properly, she just bottles up her frustration until she explodes all over them and just shits all over them in an uncalled for manner. As far as her parents go they don’t think they’ve done anything wrong, they just want to support their kid. Even if her feelings are understandable she they went moot when she kills whatever point she had with her conduct

Scoots probably would have killed for parents that cared about her though, given that both her parents are assholes and so she lives with her gay aunts.
