Should have been: At the beginning of every turn this Minion gains taunt. At the beginning of every turn remove Taunt from all other minions. Shinning Armor can only be healed by Cadence.
@Ledvi
What I’m trying to say is that against 8/9 classes when you play this card you have divine shield up for quite a while (how ever long it takes to break through your wall of weinie taunts) and have that time to use a wepon to smack the living daylights out of somthing for free. It’ll like a less shit, one time ise ramshield effect.
@Docpony
Then you leave it to your minions not your hero. Paladin spell cards focus on either buffing your minions/protecting them at the same time, and dealing damage to enemy minions and hero just to either draw a card or heal. The only cards that aid your hero are weapon cards. You also have a Paladin legendary hero that gives you Ashbringer as its deathrattle.
@Ledvi
Well, you see, that isn’t an option for pally. If you have a true silver on board when you drop it you can deal the four damage as if it were a spell and take no damage. If you don’t have true silver your opnent has to at least use 2 mana to ping the shield or use somthing else. (Imagine this when you’re playing priest or worior, it would basicly amount to heal any where from 3 - 7)
@Ripp_
But there is no reason why a hero should have divine shield either, since immunity is more powerful than divine shield. Rather than absorbing every damage your opponent will give until the minion (Mal’Ganis) is destroyed, or your secret spell card (Ice Block) has expired, it’s only going to absorb one attack and that’s it. No damage absorb (like the shield) or absorb every attack (like the immunity). I could just drop in Moonfire and your shield would burst open. It’s a pointless mechanic, and divine shield should only be used on your own minions.
@-Lunacy
But why give a card the ability to grant a hero divine shield, when it can be taken out on the next turn? I could use Frostbolt, Dark Bomb, or worse, Moonfire just to get rid of it. All it takes is one hit, and BAM, it’s gone. It’s pointless.
@Ledvi
If you study how heartstones internal mechanics work though there is no reason why a hero couldn’t get divine shield. Their internals work just like minions, see how Jaraxus can be targeted by demon targeting effects.
@Ledvi
I mean they could work it into a thing that could happen. Save your hero from taking 1 hit from anything that will often get pinged off from a 1-damage source. But for now there is only full immunity from all damage from a few things like ice block, Mal’Ganis, that new hunter bow etc.

Weapon&Immunity>Weapon&DivineShield
Weapon&Shield>Weapon&DivineShield
One word, weapons.
They still have to expend something to remove it, even if its just Valueboar.

He single handedly hold back a horde of changelings. That’s not bad.

Really?
Well, I’ll keep that in mind.
That’s okay, they’ll retcon them in.
