But try not to crap on other people’s while your at it, particularly when good arguments exist for said ship.

*I added something about AJ not being pushy and inconsiderate and knowing how to encourage Shy to be better while being sensitive (at least a heck of a lot more so than Dash), but that seemed to have been cut off from the rest of my comment. So disregard half of that last paragraph (about dash).

Twi and AJ easily the most selfless, compromising and grown up of the mane 6, and have had many moments in which they have connected deeply. It’s a refreshing take on the opposites attract thing: the modest bookworm and outgoing farm girl. They’d easily have the most grown up relationship of any mane six shipping

I think that, out of the Mane Six, Twilight is Applejack’s best friend. I agree she has a really great friendship with Rainbow Dash, but I feel that Twilight is the one that she comes to if she just wants to vent and get some emotional support.
 
From what we’ve seen in the episodes, they care about each other a lot. Twilight was really worried about AJ in Applebuck Season, Applejack was the first to notice Twi was upset in A Canterlot Wedding(And comfort her, in the train). And there are some other little moments in other episodes that show that. c:
 
Like we’ve seen, they’re both really hard workers, and can sometimes get overloaded with work. I think Applejack would be the one to snap out of it first and bring Twi back to earth. They are also pretty much the most mature ponies of the Mane 6, who have give the others a slap in the face when they need it.
 
I just think they can give each other the support they need and relax together because they both really need to calm down sometime. <3
 
As for Appleshy. I think she’d honestly be leaps and bounds better for her than any of the others given she knows how to be sensitive with her, respecting Fluttershy’s differences while encouraging her to do better (Dragonshy being a good example of this). She isn’t pushy or outright disrespectful nor inconsiderate like Dash (which I always found pretty unforgiving giving they grew up together)
 
So yeah…My arguments still stand, that they make perfect sense.

Opinions. Twi and AJ are good friends true but beyond that I have a hard time seeing it work, Twi’s not exactly the emotional type and there is nothing about her that suggests she’d be interested in any romantic relationship (emotionally, interest-wise or whatever… all of her focus in her life is basically dedicated to her studies and she seems to prefer it that way). With Fluttershy there’s potential for a connection because of the nature thing, but her and AJ have barely ever interacted on the show and there’s basically zero chemistry between them. Rarijack has the potential to work well because they’re different but in very complimentary ways, and we’ve seen their relationship can range from heated “sexual tension” (if you’re a shipper) quarreling to sweeter moments on the show so it has more potential than a lot of ships in terms of believable real world chemistry. Just my own opinion… I don’t expect you to agree but you have to realize not everyone will see things your way, either.
