On a mission over the Dragon Lands, his squadron was attacked and several members were captured by the dragons. Instead of deserting his comrades with the rest of the squadron, Flash had a plan. Using himself as bait for the dragons, he led them on a chase from their lair while his comrades rescued the captured ponies. Before Flash was overtaken by the dragons, he bravely flew through a lightning storm, losing his pursuers at great risk to himself and saved the day.
