sorry for necro but, BBFCs system is hillarious, They put like 12+ tags on porn

BBFC either use 18 for hardcore porn, or it’s R-18 or unrated. An exact dictionary definition or what is or is not porn does not exist, it’s kinda vague where the boundaries are…they might consider something not porn, but you watch it and feel it is. *le shrug* :)

For games, we use the PEGI ratings here in the UK, administered by the Video Standards Council. Used to be part of the remit of the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification), but was separated out a few years ago.

I’d like to see something for the BBFC ratings though - Uc, U, PG, 12, 12A, 15, 18, and R18. xD

I never liked taking that too literally, ‘cause then means kids under 10 or 13 can’t play SSB, and such. It should depend on what kinda content won’t bother the child, or what their parent finds appropriate.

In fact, my parents (despite being quite conservative) actually pretty much let me & my older sister watch or play whatever we want, as long as it wasn’t too graphic, and if they were with us.
As kids we kinda avoided movies that were too graphic anyways, as we weren’t too into those, but a few like Terminator 2 we enjoyed.

My Little Pony - 1992 Edition

still prefer the USK rating system. much simplier to understand.

your age just has to be equal or larger to the number shown so that you can watch/play whatever it was printed on
