Spike didn’t really walk through the portal, he jumped in it. Which probably made him go a little too fast while going through it. Plus wasn’t spike supposed to come out of the portal first since he jumped in the portal after Twilight?

Didn’t they walk through the portal? I mean Twilight just walked out of the portal, though wobbling on two legs. So how was Spike launched out of the portal?

Right, I should stop over analyzing.

Take a seat, son. And pay good attention because I’m only gonna explain this once. You see, when a boy and a girl likes each other very much, they go on something called a play date. And on that play date, they usually go to the park and play in the sandbox. And when the day is done, the girl will ask the boy for some ice cream (now remember this son because this part is extremely important). She wants the ice cream in a cone because if you don’t use a cone, then it won’t taste as good. But you also have to have napkins. Napkins is what keeps the ice cream at bay. If you forget the napkins, then she’ll end up being covered in ice cream. And if she’s covered in ice cream, God punishes her by turning her into an alicorn.

And that, my boy, is how Twilight Sparkle became an alicorn.

Now everything makes sense…

Forever.

It can be kinda hard to tell when someone’s joking, what with having Spike handle a couple of heavy books being called “hideously cruel treatment”.
