To be fair, none of them have showed any redeeming qualities, or wanting to do better, yet. For example, Chrysalis is a lot less sympathetic in the IDW comics. And the big red dragon from Dragonshy was forgiven by Fluttershy and was (eventually) asked to leave.
With a side order of mentoring badass.

They give a speech about forgiveness and realize she was just trying to make up for her own flaws by winning these competitions and accept her as a friend
They’ve shown a willingness to not go the route with Chrysalis. Or dragons. Or the Diamond Dogs. Or Flim and Flam.
The show’s entire premise is about the power of friendship being able to do anything.
I’d be amazed if they didn’t go this route.
I say we hand her over to Discord as a toy.
To be fair, this “redemption” would make the most sense of all.
