All you get for acquiring all powers in the game is the idol for the little girl. That’s it. You can actually get the idol just by scanning an AR card or by egg toss. In short, you get absolutely nothing for getting all powers.
Truth be told, I feel like the last challenge I have left to do is one I’m better off never pursuing, else it ruins my love of games.
It asks for the player to obtain all “powers” in the game. Keep in mind, the powers you get are utterly random drops during levels, and after online games (in which BLUE powers are only ever used, or obtained). It basically amounts to little more than a massive amount of playing 9.0 difficulty on levels, repeatedly, after looking up what levels are more likely than others to drop certain powers.
But there is NO excuse for the Online Games factor; you literally need to just play match after match after match with the hope you get every level (Lvl. 1-4) for each and every applicable power. And that WILL break you far more than 9.0 Chapter 25 ever could. Because skill can always be honed and sharpened to a fine point capable of decimating anything and everything the game dares to throw at you.
… But sadly, luck does not work in the same manner as skill; and that’s exactly what you need. You need to win the right games at the right times without knowing what those games will be. What those TIMES will be. KI:U is just not one of the games worth getting 100% completion on, just to go to a convention and streetpass some guys who’ll say “Hey, this guy got 100%. Coo’.” converts weapon gem into hearts
I tried focusing mainly on the chapters that require you to take no damage during certain sections. As a completionist, I wanted to fill out all the charts without using any feathers. Needless to say, it ended up leaving me stuck :/
The only chapters I have beaten on 9.0 are the first and final chapters strangely enough.
To this day I still haven’t beat ch.25 on 9.0 and don’t think I ever will. Luck has just never done it for me.
I managed to beat the final chapter on 9.0 in Crisis Mode.
I hate claws-users online; I use my club, my cannon, and occasionally a few other things. But hey, I LOVED Online for a while. I got my game completed up to one challenge remaining without using any of the Feathers in the Hades Challenge Panel.
I remember that moment when I beat Chapter 25 on 9.0… I was in a grocery store, right as Father was in the check-out and I went on ahead a bit, to the end of the check-out counter to focus less on walking and more on playing… couldn’t get hit once in Hades’ final form due to low health… Pretty sure my victory shriek scared a few of the customers… Heh…
… Ah, memories…
@thps48
Weirdly enough I could see Hades coming up with a Box Wizard to turn Pit into one of these.
Mimics in Smash Run originate from KI3.
The best staff I have is the Laser Staff. I would always use that one online for some easy victories in light vs. dark. And if not that, the Bear Claws were my second choice.
No, no, no, no no!
True, I prefer clubs, myself… Clubs and the occasional Staff. I overused the HELL out of a Flintlock Staff during the Phoenix mission; it had this ridiculous +4 bonus with backwards-dash charge-shots. The Flintlock Staff actually does more damage the further distance it travels.
… So basically, I littered the level with little campsites. XD
Yeah, I guess you’re right. Someone like me who specializes in claws more would of course probably be screwed.
Just as annoying if not worse. The only benefit is they aren’t random in Uprising so if you remember the map you can avoid.
Well it DOES depend on the weapon used, of course… But yeah; it’s mostly just “dodge, run away, shoot once, dodge, run away, shoot once…”
There was this one in stage 10, Medusa’s Lair? Small-as-balls platform with two openings to run off from and die, AND you can accidentally knock the ENEMY off, TOO, which removes your chance at getting her items!
What a mess…
Hasn’t played Kid Icarus: Uprising
The optimal “Tirek wins” scenario.
They take forever to kill. I swear, they probably killed me even more times then the bosses in the game.
I just hated them in 9.0 runs; They can give some of the best items when beaten, but can ALSO kill you with almost no problem. Dodging too early was always the WORST; watching it just… turn around and combo you.
