These are a few from today that we missed, and that exclusively pertained to that one topic; nevermind the ones that flagrantly break rating in some other way. I can assure you, and TLL can assure with a blood sacrifice from his own reserve, that this shit is everywhere and what we do catch is bad. That you don’t see it despite being a “frequent user” just means we’re actually doing our unpaid jobs of cleaning up everyone’s mess. The example I gave is not a damn exaggeration, but trust me you I wish it were.
 
But you can believe we spend dev and mod time on this for I don’t know what fucking imaginary reason if you want. That totally makes more sense than reality.

No no not at all. I’m saying that the images that should get higher rating in certain cases don’t such images that bring up rape through text. It I find it pretty fucking hard to believe that such comments (if there’s is any comments AT ALL) happen so frequently on perfectly safe images. This is coming from someone that frequently browses the site.

So what’s the deal with cursing on safe images? I looked through the rules again and I didn’t see anything about saying “I f**king love this picture, bruh”, on a safe image. Not saying anything sexual or violent or whatever, just saying “cuss words”.

Every day there are dozens of comments with highly violent and/or sexual content posted on perfectly safe and sweet images. Are you saying we should tag an image of Sweetie Belle smiling as explicit, grimdark because someone couldn’t keep in their comment of Imma fuck her in the ass ’till she cries XD XD?
 
Any image that already talks about a topic falling under a certain rating should have that rating applied, and if not it’s the duty of every responsible user to fix the tags.

That’s a tagging issue not a commenting issue. If many of the images talking about rape wasn’t tagged ‘safe’ it would be less of an issue.

This is bullshit. Has the community fallen so much that we need to be reminded ever second what the fucking rules are! Who even suggested such a thing. Man this country site hasn’t been the same since the new president mods came to town.

The rule still applies to explicit images. Grimdark comments shouldn’t be posted outside of grimdark images, nor sexual ones posted on grimdark.

Vulgarity isn’t the problem on safe images, sexual content is.

Speaking as someone who has inadvertently posted f-bombs on a lot of safe images, I completely understand the purpose of this. I can hold my breath for a really long time, though, so I shoudl be fine on the moon.

For the record,i wasnt offended at the first version of the comment box,i was just surprised and i wondered if it targeted specific user based on the IP

No, I respect the sites rules. I’m not scared of them, but I don’t want to break them. Plus, I’d never say something like “I don’t care about some stupid booru’s rules”. That would be almost inhuman!
