I think so too. So many people complain about how light coated characters like Sweetie Belle or Rarity are “too dark” but don’t complain when darker-coated characters such as Twilight or Luna are white. Or they complain that Apple Bloom doesn’t have a docile Disney princess or Barbie doll face. Can’t we just accept that people are different? The artist has a cute style in my opinion. Scootaloo’s arm does throw me off though.

Okay, good points there. I agree, AB looks wrong with her lantern jaw.
But I think SB and Scoots don’t look that bad.
you forgot the stylistic suck and the complete lack of anatomical basis along with flat faces that are definitely within the realm of the uncanny valley
yes, those things are appalling
plus apple bloom has a defined chin, which i find really disturbing
I’m more concerned about Apple Bloom’s giant chin and Scootaloo’s ruber arm
