The designs for EQG lightened all of their coat colors, I guess so it would lessen the oddness of having characters with non-human skin tones. I think this is also part of why I don’t like Luna’s human design. To me her face is a little chunkier than it should be, and her color looks off, being so much lighter.
But Celestia’s not the only one with a “hidden” color. Rarity is actually very light grey. And Vinyl Scratch is an extremely pale yellow (this was discovered when one of her official Flash assets was discovered in a Hasbro website file, and someone used a color sampler on her for whatever reason, and it showed up in the yellow spectrum.)

Except Celestia has always been pink, just a very very pale pink, the outlines show this the best.
your current filter.I always thought the light pink skin for Celestia was a gag at the original toy being pink. Luna’s skin should be darker though, and I’d prefer the original shades of orange and blue for Applyjack and Trixie, as well.

The accessories for Celestia include a magnifying glass, a split-open geode, a crystal formation, a set of crystals, a set of crystal diagrams, a tambourine, a pair of what look like rubber ducks, and blackboard with math equations written on it. Along with some I can’t identify, desks, pens and paper, and a coffee cup.
Celestia isn’t a teacher, she’s a principal, yet she’s given accessories that make her look like a geology teacher who sides in math and music, and collects rubber ducks.
So yes, Sonata can get a taco. It wouldn’t be the first time a fan-based joke was used in a product.

Well since she is the Principal of the School it’s not that nonsensical to have elements of the school as part of her set. Sonata, on the other hand, said “Taco” a grand total of once in the entire movie and no times in any other official material, and yet people classify her as The Taco Girl.

I see what you mean, but… I really wanted to see what Gloriosa and the Shadowbolts would look like in pony form, and now we can only guess. XD
With all the random crap they shoved into this set with Celestia, they better include a taco with Sonata.
I kind of wish they’d knock it off myself, it’d be better to try and make the show stand on its own two legs (Like how they’ve been distancing itself more and more from the pony world/series in how the stories flow/work) than to try and leech off FIM.
