An episode like this was to be expected, to see what’d happen to the CMC now they got their marks. Quite interesting focus on Applebloom. Just kinda had to make this scene I guess haha. Made me think of previous times I had light cast inside a room (sleeping Twi comes to mind)

Bit rougher/quicker approach this time around, not as much body to make, mostly just her face/hair, almost a portrait with some background scenery to it. But it was fun, also because I don’t make fillies that often, so it brought some possible challenges with it.
It felt like a combination of different older pieces I’ve made. The square portraits, with some of the rougher environments, and some others.

I enjoyed the episode (it’s hard for me not to enjoy, though hah)

Throughout everything it was interesting to see a bunch of different “lessons” or aspects, which on their own may not always mean the most, but come together quite nicely. Not realising what you had until it’s gone, not forcing things, all the AB realisations, and so on. New characters introduced as well as old ones reappearing. Even a bit of Rarity thrown in there, without her actually appearing, hehe.

Anyhow, was fun! Although I did only just get to watch and make this piece because I was at BUCK during the weekend. This next one will be as before, though, the normal schedule.
