Awesome looking design!

I based Majesty here on a draught horse. Male ponies in G1 were also based on the draught horse body-type, so that’s why you’re reading the features as strictly masculine (they’re not). I’m actually pretty okay with the androgyny interpretation, but it all comes from trying to depict a realistic ‘large’ horse body-type instead of Celestia’s ballerina body.
 
Oh, btw, ‘unshorn’ fetlocks (this usage is incorrect, if you can see the bare hooves, it means the fetlocks have been shorn) isn’t used as a gender marker on my blog. Both males and females have different styles.

No, she’s from G1, heavily featured in the comics.  
Presumably monarch of Dream Castle.  
Kind to ponies, ruthless to enemies.  
So like Celestia, but with a kill count.
